Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is excited to offer 3 days of fun, outdoor camp during the Park City February Break. Campers will adventure on snowshoes, learn about animals in the winter, try their hand at snow science, and more.

Ski Break Camp is open to youth currently enrolled in 1st through 5th graders. Kindergartners may not attend—no exceptions. Camp begins each morning at 9 am and ends at 4 pm (drop off is allowed at 8:45 am. No late pick up available). Two snacks will be provided (one in the morning and one in the afternoon), but campers should bring their own sack lunch (that does not require heating) and a reusable water bottle each day. More information, including daily agendas, packing list, and specific agendas will be sent out about a week before camp begins.

    COVID-19
Protecting the health and safety of our participants, staff, and community are a top priority at Swaner. The following policies will be implemented during this program to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:

    • Face coverings that cover the mouth and nose are required for all participants during any indoor activities, and for outdoor activities when maintaining a distance of 6 feet or more is not possible. Staff will wear masks at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
    • Class sizes will be limited to no more than 12 participants and 3 staff.
    • Drop off and pick up will occur outside the EcoCenter. Adult guardians and non-participants will not be allowed to enter the EcoCenter during drop off or pick up.
    • All staff and participants will be screened upon arrival. This includes a temperature check, and visually and verbally checking for symptoms or known exposure.
    • Campers who have been exposed to someone who is suspected of or known to have COVID-19 within 14 days of the program will not be able to participate.

To learn more about what we are doing to protect the health of participants and staff, check out our updated policies and procedures document .
