Ski Break Camp
Ski Break Camp 2020
Thanks for a wonderful Ski Break Camp in 2020! We can’t wait to provide wintery fun next year! Check back in early 2021 for camp details!
2020 Daily Camp Themes
|Ice Ice Baby: Alright stop, collaborate and listen.
Winter is back and we’re off on our mission!
Flake shape, snowpack, tracking weather tightly
Be prepared: learning’s quite likely
Will it ever stop? Yo, I don’t know. Enroll in this camp, and explore snow!
|Winter in the Wild: It’s snow joke that winter can be harsh. We won’t leave you on thin ice as we explore basic survival skills in the winter, including fort building, navigation, and keeping warm!|
|Arctic Adaptations: Bundle up and prepare to take a walk on the wild side! Although the idea of staying out in the cold all winter may seem unbearable to you, some of our local animals are as busy as beavers all season long! Identify signs of animals on the Preserve, investigate how certain animals have adapted to survive winter, and discover how fauna avoid being ice-olated through the harshest season of the year!|
|Snowlympics: No need to train for this camp! Take a STEM-based approach on your favorite winter Olympic sports. Exercise your brain as you engineer a luge course, test your center of gravity with a speed skater challenge, and freestyle your creativity while you design your own medal. Time to take home the gold!|
The cost of camp is $60 per day. This fee helps to cover the cost of supplies for activities, special guest visitors, snacks, facility expenses, our staff’s time planning and facilitating camp, and more.
Tuition waivers are available to individuals with financial need. Please contact Katherine Veeder, Education Director, at email@example.com or (435)797-8942 for more information.

If you cancel 2 or less weeks prior the day of camp, you will receive a refund (less the $25 fee mentioned above) only if your spot is filled from the waitlist. If your spot cannot be filled, you will not receive a refund.
