Demonstration Garden
Learn more about native, water-wise plants you can have in your very own garden | Open 7 days a week
The Swaner Demonstration Garden is an educational garden with native water-wise plant
material. The garden is designed to provide information to businesses and homeowners
who want to create a beautiful, colorful, low-maintenance landscape while significantly
reducing water use.
In addition to demonstrating native landscape plant material, the garden showcases
three dominant life zones or ecosystems found in northern
Utah's nearby mountain ranges: alpine, subalpine and montane zones.
The plants and wildlife found in these different life zones vary, with each zone having
its own characteristic plant community.
The garden is free and open to the public. Stop in and learn!
